Overview

The VIÑO branding project focuses on creating a distinct visual identity for a premium wine glass company. Traditional glassware photography often faces challenges due to reflections, transparency, and lighting. To overcome these hurdles, VIÑO’s branding utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and imaginative conceptualization to craft compelling visuals and brand assets. The result is a striking, memorable brand presence that stands out in a crowded market.

The Challenge

One of the most significant challenges in branding glass products is photography. Glass is notoriously difficult to capture because of its tendency to reflect light and its transparent qualities, which can lead to unwanted glares and visual distortions. Achieving the right balance of sharpness and clarity often requires specialized equipment, careful staging, and extensive post-production. This makes traditional photoshoots for glass products not only technically demanding but also costly and time-consuming. For a new or conceptual brand, these hurdles can limit creative possibilities and slow down the process of building a strong visual identity.

The Solution

To overcome these challenges, I decided to move away from conventional glassware photography and instead use artificial intelligence as a tool for generating visual assets. AI technology allowed me to create realistic and stylized images of wine glasses that capture all the detail, elegance, and atmosphere needed for the VIÑO brand. Paired with my own imagination and influences from art, design, and nature, the resulting visuals are both distinctive and evocative. This process gave me full creative control, enabling endless experimentation and iteration without the constraints of traditional shoots.

The Result

The final outcome is a cohesive and visually compelling brand identity for VIÑO. The images produced are striking and original, perfectly conveying the brand’s values of elegance and innovation. By using AI and creative vision, VIÑO is able to differentiate itself from other wine glass brands that rely on standard photography. This approach not only streamlines the production of brand assets but also opens up new possibilities for future campaigns and storytelling. VIÑO demonstrates how technology and creativity can work hand in hand to redefine branding for glassware and beyond.
