Overview

Pebble is a personal passion project born out of a lifelong fascination with soft, rounded, and ergonomic furniture forms. Ever since childhood, I’ve been captivated by the idea of a sofa that looks as comforting as it feels—smooth, sculptural, and effortlessly modern. Tired of waiting for my dream design to appear in the real world, I decided to bring it to life myself through a full concept and branding mockup. The project includes a complete brand identity for Pebble, reflecting a modern, calm, and tactile design language. The sofa itself comes in two signature colors—Azu, a deep, serene blue, and Buro, a rich earthy brown. These shades were chosen to embody the dual nature of Pebble: both a design statement and a cozy retreat.

The Challenge

One of the biggest challenges in creating Pebble was translating a deeply personal, lifelong vision into a tangible product. The idea of a soft, sculptural, and comforting sofa had lived in my imagination since childhood, but finding a way to bring that intangible feeling into the physical world required a leap of design thinking. It wasn’t just about making something look good—it had to feel right too. Another major challenge was building a brand identity from scratch. I wanted Pebble to reflect not just a piece of furniture, but a design philosophy: modern, calm, and tactile. Developing a cohesive visual and emotional language that could clearly communicate that essence meant diving deep into the psychology of design, materials, and storytelling. It had to be unique, but also approachable and emotionally resonant.

The Solution

To overcome the design challenge, I leaned into an iterative, research-led process. I explored organic shapes, ergonomic studies, and sculpture-inspired sketches to find the sweet spot between form and function. Every curve and contour was intentionally crafted to evoke a sense of comfort, both visually and physically. The result is a sofa that feels like a natural extension of the body and the space it inhabits. For the branding, I developed a full identity system that visually embodies Pebble’s ethos. The logo, typography, color palette, and overall tone were chosen to communicate a sense of softness and modernity. I made sure the brand spoke the same language as the product—calm, tactile, and sophisticated—helping Pebble stand out as both a design piece and a comforting presence.

The Result

The result is a fully realized concept that goes far beyond just a piece of furniture. Pebble is now a complete brand and design package, with detailed mockups and a defined identity that’s ready to be pitched, prototyped, or even produced. Emotionally, the project succeeds in capturing the feeling I’ve always wanted to share—a sofa that feels as comforting as it looks. Visually, it stands strong as a modern, elegant design with a clear point of view. And personally, Pebble has been a deeply fulfilling creative journey—one that brought a childhood dream into tangible, visual reality.
